TextQuote is operated by Claro Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
This privacy policy explains how TextQuote collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our WhatsApp-based quoting service.
What we collect
- Your WhatsApp phone number (used as your account identifier)
- Your business details (business name, contact name, phone number, address, VAT number) that you provide during setup
- Quote data you create (customer names, addresses, line items, prices, notes)
- Your default hourly rate if you choose to provide one
- Your approximate business location (derived from your business address) to improve address suggestions
How we use your data
- To provide the TextQuote quoting service
- To generate and deliver PDF quotes on your behalf
- To send you draft reminders via WhatsApp (you can opt out by texting STOP at any time)
- To process your subscription payments via Stripe
- To improve address resolution accuracy using your business location
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (operated by Meta) to send and receive messages. Messages are processed by Meta in accordance with their data processing terms. We use Anthropic's Claude API to parse your quote messages — your message text is sent to Anthropic for processing but is not stored by them beyond the API call.

Data retention
- Your account and quote data is retained for as long as your account is active
- If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days then deleted
- You can request immediate deletion at any time (see our data deletion page)
Data sharing
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising
- We share data only with the service providers listed above, solely to deliver the TextQuote service
Your rights (UK GDPR)
- Access: request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure: request deletion of your data
- Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection: object to processing of your data

Cookies
The TextQuote quote editor pages do not use cookies or tracking. The textquote.co.uk landing page uses only essential cookies required for the site to function.
